About The Sungkyun Times
The Sungkyun Times (SKT) is the official English newsmagazine of Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU). Founded on June 15, 1970, the SKT first started publishing newspapers and later switched to a magazine format in 1993.
The SKT is published monthly throughout the academic year except the summer and the winter breaks. The SKT covers various events while reporting significant issues that happen on the campus and in the Korean society. The SKT serves the student population as well as the staff, faculty, and alumni of the SKKU. It is also distributed to SKKU¡¯s sister schools overseas and national libraries worldwide.
A devoted group of undergraduate students volunteer their time and efforts to publish the SKT.
As a school publication, the SKT has been instrumental in providing communication between Sungkyunkwan University and its community. It now endeavors in building international relations with other schools and heighten the school¡¯s reputation in this age of globalization.
