Overview
3-week Korean Language Course, run by Sungkyun Language Institute (SLI) was designed to meet all international students' needs to learn Korean language. It aims at presenting valuable opportunity for international students, particularly for those who have much interest in learning about Korea, to study Korean language within short period of time . It has been recognized for its successful educational result for which our qualified instructors, various textbooks, and interesting classes. SLI is ready to provide more productive and rewarding classes to you, compared to Korean courses in other universities in Korea.

Features
High-qualified instructors and curriculums
The SLI Korean Language course is well known for its experienced instructors - approximately 20 of them - who were educated and trained in teaching Korean as a foreign language. The curriculum and content of the lectures are carefully devised and managed by the instructors. In addition, instructors are ready to help the students who have problems related to their studies or life in Korea.
Excellent textbooks
We use Easy to learn Korean 1-6 and Easy to speak Korean 1-10 devised by our own lecturers as the teaching material. They have very good reputations and been used as textbooks in 14 universities in Korea and exported to China, Thailand, and so on.
Volunteers "Friends"
Friends , a voluntary student organization, consists of more than 100 students at Sungkyunkwan University. The organization is aimed to foster language and culture exchange between international students and our students. The "Friends" students always do their best to help their international students accommodate to the campus life. international students may find it helpful to have some Korean friends to guide and help them during their stay in Korea.
Certificate
Students who successfully completed Level 6, or at least three consecutive terms, will be awarded "Certificate of Completion" with the name and signature of director of Sungkyun Language Institute.

Refund Policy
> Student who has received their visa will under no circumstances be refunded
> Student whose visa application has been denied will get refund
* Refund process:
To get a refund, return a letter of admission and the receipt of the fees to the office, and fill out the refund-request form in person or by your legal proxy. (Non-refundable application fee KRW 30,000 and wiring fee are excluded.
100% refund - at least a week before the beginning of the term.
90% refund - before the beginning of the term.
70% refund - within one week after the course begins.
No refund - after two weeks pass.
Curriculum & Activities
1. Intensive Korean language classes are 4 hours a day from 9:00 to 1:00pm, Monday through Friday
- The curriculum includes grammar, writing, speaking and listening(mainly focused on Speaking), role playing based on the Korean movies and Korean soap operas
2. Special afternoon courses, Monday through Friday
- Business Korean Class, Advanced Korean Writing Class, Korean Film Class, Korean Music Class
3. Korean traditional cultural experience / Field Activities:
- Twice a course from 2:00 - 5:00pm. Visits include historic palaces, Insa-dong, Daehak-ro, Korean Folk Village and taking a bus tour in Seoul and famous film shooting locations)
