Since its establishment 1947, SKKU Law School has produced numerous outstanding leaders to serve the society including political, government, business and legal circles under the SKKU's motto of Humanity, Righteousness, Propriety, Wisdom and Self-Cultivation. It became possible because SKKU Law School has been loyal to SKKU's basic educational principles which are aimed at fostering leaders with the high sense of morality.
Since Samsung Group's acquisition of SKKU Foundation, SKKU Law School has expanded human and physical infrastructure while making numerous administrative reforms to join the world-class universities. It strives to develop the best talents, who will lead the nation in the 21st century by equipping itself with high-tech buildings, libraries, top-class professors and by introducing advanced educational programs and administrative systems. In the era of globalization, the school is taking the lead in the development of global leaders by promoting the exchanges of professors and students with the prestigious law schools such as Fordham Law School and Peking Law School.

- The law faculty includes nine members of the National Academy of Science, three of whom hold emeritus title.

- Samsung scholarships are awarded to students who rank in the top 1 percent of the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT). The following percentage of law students received these scholarships:
