School of Life Science and Biotechnology
The connection between theory and practice is rarely closer than in that of the courses taught in the School of Life Science and Biotechnology of Sungkyunkwan University.. The School's programs are designed to combine classroom learning with hands-on experience in the "real world." In the well equipped laboratories, the faculty and students are devoted to the research on problems such as how maintain sufficient food supplies for the growing population of the world, or how to improve the quality of living without damaging the delicate balance of the ecosystem.
