On May 3rd, SKKU Research & Business Foundation held a meeting with the policy makers in Asia to discuss about intellectual properties.
In this meeting SKKU has ▶introduced commercialization and infrastructure of intellectual property ▶shared stories related to patents (litigation, standardization, training) ▶discussed cooperation with institutes in each country.
It is anticipated that this event will become the foundation for a close cooperation between SKKU and institutes in the ASEAN.
It is also expected to expand one of the university’s major project “Global IP SKKU” (sponsored by Korean Intellectual Property Office and Korea Invention Promotion Association) by establishing a reputation as a global IP specialized institution.
The head of Research & Business Foundation Hyunseung CHOO said, “We will strengthen ties with the rapidly developing Asian countries to establish a diverse IP environment in SKKU. We will strive to solidify SKKU’s reputation as Top 10 University in Asia.”
