THE (Times Higher Education) has announced the THE World University Rankings 2020. SKKU has dropped 7 places to 89th place but remained as No.1 comprehensive private university in Korea. SKKU received a slightly lower points in academic environment and research performance in comparison to the previous year.
Seoul National University also dropped to 64th place and other engineering schools such as KAIST and POSTECH has also continued to drop to 110th and 146th respectively. Korea University rose to 179th place and Yonsei University took 197th place.
The title of world’s top university went to Oxford University.
