College of Social Sciences, held an Opening Ceremony of Global Leaders Wing
The department of Global Leaders, College of Social Sciences, held an opening ceremony of Global Leaders Wing on October 22 (Thur). In the event, professors and students of Global Leader and key members including Dong-ryeol Shin (President), Hong-joon Yoo (Vice-President of Humanities and Social Sciences Campus), Myung-yong Um (Dean, College of Social Science), Dong-wook (Vice-President of Academic Affairs), and etc. attended.
Global Leaders Wing is a newly introduced space through the Edu-Plus project, which is conducted to build a pleasant and safe educational environment and is located on the second floor of law school. The existing lecture room has been remodeled and transformed into a comfortable space including student lounge, seminar room, and bar tables for professors and students.
Additionally, Myung-yong Um, the dean, introduced the “Department of Global Leaders, VISION 2.0”, which aims to foster public society leaders with creative and integrated knowledge, and shared the strategies to innovate curricula, differentiate brands and create results for undergraduate programs.
Starting with the space improvement, the department of Global Reader plans to establish itself as a mecca for attracting and fostering talented people, and implement VISION 2.0 to become the best department which leads intellectual society in public sector.
