Accomplishment Conference of Challenge Semester 2020 was Held 


On November 3 (Tue), an Accomplishment Conference of Challenge Semester 2020 was held in the 600th Anniversary Hall. In this event, President Dong-Ryeol Shin, Vice-president of Humanities and Social Sciences Campus Hong-Jun Yoo, Vice-president of Natural Science Campus Sung-Jin Song, Vice president of Student Affairs Sang-Hoon Bae, Vice-president of Planning and Coordination Division, Information and Communication Division Wan-Sun Shin, and professors and students representing the challenge semester’s curriculum / extra-curricular / internship.

 


In the accomplishment conference, they shared the results and operation of first challenge semester and explored the direction of development for the next year’s semester. During the 10 weeks of challenge semester from June 22 (Fri) to August 28 (Fri), 1,922 students participated in regular curricula, 2,375 students in extra-curricular programs, and 677 students in internship programs.



In addition, there was an award ceremony for the [2020 Challenge X Live]. For this event, the vivid challenges and experiences during the challenge semester, and the story of growth and development through the challenge semester were presented. Through two reviews, the winners of one grade prize, three excellent prizes three encouraging prizes were selected.


The director of Education Development Center said, “This is the first semester, so we needed to listen to students’ stories about their experiences and growth.”





The Education Development Center produced an e-book for award-winning works to share excellent examples of challenge semester to students.
