SKKU Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center hold Network Program with Singapore Management University (SMU)



Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center (EIC) successfully held a networking ceremony with Singapore Management University (SMU) students and faculties at the Business building Start-up campus on May 2nd. This networking ceremony was part of an oversea business market tour program and a total of 35 SMU students, including Professor. Wee-Liang Tan participated.


 


This networking program was to share the management method of our school’s entrepreneurship & innovation center and meet the start-up club/student start-up founder of SKKU for information exchange regarding Korea’s start-up ecosystem. At the ceremony, Professor. Wonjun Lee, Director of EIC, gave a special lecture for SMU members about the philosophy and know-how of student start-up ecosystem creation ‘History of SKKU start-up support and education,’ ‘Practice-based Education,’ ‘Problem-Solving Community (PSC).’ Etc. The student representative, Global Biomedical Engineering senior Jungmin Lee, who is developing a conversation-type AI-based mental disease diagnosis clinic solution, SONUS, represented the business plan to share vivid experiences of student start-up situation in Korea.



Information Communication College IoT start-up/academic club ‘Kingo Smart Things’ and SKKU SeTA(Social entrepreneurship Team Academy) students also joined SMU students to look around Myungnyundang, where the history of SKKU began having a meaningful exchange.
