Spring and Autumn Annals sentence interpretation included as a collection at Jongyeonggak(Old book colletion) of SKKU The Academy of East Asian Studies was designated as state-designated cultural property (national treasure).

Spring and Autumn Annals sentence interpretation is a translated version of Spring and Autumn Annals (춘추좌씨전) in which Song(宋) dynasty scholar Lin Yaosou (林堯叟) punctuated the sentences and annotated his interpretation below. The book explains the beginning and end of various historical events recorded in Spring and Autumn Annals(춘추좌씨전) and also includes sound(yin) notation of complicated letters that are hard to pronounce. Moreover, the translated book also attached a description of names (people, place). In addition, contents of the Spring and Autumn Annals series interpretation (춘추경전집해), a Spring and Autumn commentary book by Du Ye(杜預) from the  Jin(晉) dynasty, were extracted and included to help understand.

This book first came into Korea in the early Chosun dynasty. It was spread to the public through woodblock printing in 1431(Sejong 13), Cheong-do (Gyeongsang province) since it was certified as important studying material for Spring and Autumn Annals (춘추좌씨전). It is the most fully-collected series as the first published material related to Spring and Autumn Annals (춘추좌씨전) in the mid-15th century of Chosun, nearly 550 years ago. The book was wood-printed with the signature of Eumju jeonmun chunchu gwallye simal jwajeon gudok jikhae (Zuozhuan with Commentaries, 음주전문춘추괄례시말좌전구두직해) in Korea as well but the contents are the same with Spring and Autumn Annals sentence interpretation(춘추좌씨전구해).

The remaining series (잔존본) of Spring and Autumn Annals sentence interpretation(춘추경좌씨전구해), possessed by various institutions, has already been designated as a national treasure. Still, the recently selected series owned by Jongyeonggak has the most contents of 5 books and 50 chapters (Ch. 1~9, 20~29, 40~49, 50~59, 60~70) under fine conditions.
