SKKU Office of Information & Communications opens Roblox SKKU Metaverse Campus

The SKKU Office of Information & Communications newly opened both Humanities and Social Sciences Campus and Natural Sciences Campus of SKKU on Roblox, a metaverse platform, in line with the university festival, Dae-Dong-Jae, in May. Roblox is a representative metaverse game production platform that was officially launched in 2006 and is being serviced in more than 180 countries with more than 200 million MAU (Monthly Activity User) in 2022.
Through the Metaverse Challenge Semester Extracurricular Program during summer vacation and the Metaverse Hackathon Events during the fall semester, the Roblox campus space will be continuously improved with students.
Through the school tour implemented on the Roblox campus, you can look around the campus without coming to the school directly, and you can collect coins from all over the campus to purchase Confucianist clothes, varsity jackets, and sweatshirt items and try them on.
You can look around the inside of the Samsung Library on the first floor, adding fun elements to solving quizzes related to SKKU. Roblox can be downloaded from Google Play Store or Apple App Store, Windows, Mac, and Xbox, and can be used for free after running the app and signing up.
