Sungkyunkwan University’s robotics research team won the grand prize in the 2nd “Dronbot Challenge” tournament held during September 18~19. The tournament was established in an effort to promote the development of drones and robots for military use.
There are 6 categories in the tournament such as distant reconnaissance and building reconnaissance. Each team had to perform a mission at a training field.
13 teams from 8 companies and 5 universities joined this year’s tournament.
