Hanwha Total Selected Prof. Dukjoon Kim as a Winner of “Hanwha Polymer Academic Award”


Prof. Dukjoon of Chemical Engineering was selected as a winner of “Hanwha Polymer Academic Award” organized by the Polymer Society of Korea, Hanwha Total on October 6 (Tue).


The “Hanwha Polymer Academic Award” is organized by the Polymer Society of Korea and established by Hanwha Total. It has selected scientists who have contributed to the development of polymeric science in Korea every year since 2005. Prof. Kim won the award in recognition of his contribution to the commercialization of fuel cell through his research on high-ion conduction and the manufacture of high molecular electrolyte membranes with long-term stability.


Prof. Kim, who won the award, said “The battery-related polymer materials have a great ripple effect not only in the development of academia but also in economic aspect, so we have been working with pride and duty. Also, we will continue to focus on research to achieve positive results to help the academic and industrial development.”
