ESKARA’22, an Integrated Foundation Festival for a Leap in Student Culture

-Sep. 29 (Thu) – 30 (Fri), in HSSC

-‘1398’ Cheering Festival, HSSC-NSC Competition, Performance, and Fireworks

SKKU is holding ESKARA’22, an integrated foundation festival, and a ‘1398’ cheering festival to revitalize the student society, which has been stagnant due to COVID-19, and to take a leap forward in student culture and revitalize the brand/cheering culture. ESKARA’22 will be held at Humanities and Social Sciences Campus from Sep. 29 (Thu) to 30 (Fri) for two days. It consists of various events such as the 1st cheering festival, ‘1398’, led by Kingo Cheerleader, HSSC-NSC campus competition, artist performances, and fireworks.

The 54th Student Council ‘Spring’ and the student council presidents of the undergraduate colleges participated in a joint declaration in August to establish a sustainable ESKARA festival culture and brand event, and all academic units are closely cooperating with the ESKARA process.

Pilkyu Jang (54th Student president of HSSC), said, “This ESKARA’22 is an innovative attempt to break away from the standardized university festival culture and create a festival model unique to SKKU. It will be an opportunity for all members of the school to truly unite by overcoming the physical distance between the two campuses.”
