The Reserve Army Regiment(Natural Science Campus)

The Reserve Army Regiment plans for emergencies in wartime universities following the Ministry of Education's Chungmu Plan. It was established on July 1, 1981, to provide support for the staff and student reserve forces and to aid in civil defense initiatives after the launch of the Sungkyunkwan University civil defense corps on December 24, 1975.

To enhance efficiency, three key strategies are utilized. Firstly, for emergency plan tasks, a focus is placed on preparing practical plans that consider university circumstances, checking and enhancing details and forming practical strategies to protect important data in times of war.

Second, to maximize reserve force education and training, efforts are made to coordinate training schedules in consideration of the academic calendar, improve training attendance rates through various promotional media, and contribute to substantive education and training with an emphasis on achieving results.

Last, civil defense efforts are made to enhance the ability to perform individual duties through emergency recall training and to strengthen education on pre-disaster and normal situations within the workplace to improve the disaster response and operational liabilities of civil defense members, with full attendance by reserve members, general members, and chemical-biological defense members.
