1. Eligibility
- A person from a developing country on the DAC list (see attached file)
- Those who have  economics difficulties
- Those who have excellent academic ability (language, grades)
- Those who have the potential to return home and contribute to their home country after graduation
- Priority is given to students from developing countries that participated in Korean War (South Africa, Ethiopia, Colombia, Turkey, Thailand, Philippines)
- However, even if a person is from a developing country on the list of DAC countries, Koreans are excluded from selection
 
2. Selection Schedule and Procedures
- Application Document submission(OISS): 11 Jan. 2019 *
- Document Review(Foundation): 21~24 Jan. 2019 **
- Interview(Foundation): 27 Feb. ~ 1 Mar. 2019
- Results announcement and scholarship payment: early March, 2019
 
** After the first document review, the second round of interview will be notifed to students individually. The second round is conducted by essay and interview.

3. Support Contents
- Undergraduate students: academic expenses per semester (dormitory, medical insurance, textbook, food, etc.)
- Graduate students: tuition fees or academic expenses per semester depending on the student's scholarship status
 
4. Required documents

- Undergraduate: Application form <Form 1-1> - <Form 1-3> English or Korean

1) TranscriptEnrolled students: High school and University(undergraduate school) transcripts     Freshman : High school transcripts or(and) University(undergraduate school) transcripts
2)  Official documents that can verify academic performance or foreign language proficiency       (Either English or Korean)
 
[Supplementary Documents] 
1) The documents that can certify extra-curricular activities from an undergraduate school or a graduate school
2) The documents that can prove family economic situation, etc.

- Graduate student: application form <Form 2-1> ~ <Form 2-3> English or Korean
[Required Documents]
1) University(undergraduate school) diploma or certificate of pending graduation 
2) TranscriptsFreshman: undergraduate school transcripts Enrolled student: graduate &undergraduate school transcripts
3) Official documents that can verify academic performance or foreign language proficiency(Either English or Korean)
 
[Supplementary Documents] 
1) The documents that can certify extra-curricular activities from an undergraduate school or a graduate school
2) The documents that can certify achievement of research or research plan3) The documents that can prove family economic situation, etc.
(All documents submitted should be originals. If original documents cannot be submitted, a copy of the original should be submitted with a seal affixed by the university, which the applicant will be or is enrolled in)
