신문방송학과 정성은 교수와 석사과정 최윤진 학생이 미국저널리즘매스커뮤니케이션학회 (Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication)의 한미커뮤니케이션 협회 주관 분과 (Korean American Communication Association, KACA) 분과 우수발표논문상 수상 (Top Faculty Paper Award)를 수상했다. 수상 논문은 「Three main determinants of other-self perceptual gap in partisan news effect: Evaluation of news desirability, self-other perceptual gap in political knowledge, and self-other perceptual gap in critical literacy for political information.」이다.
