Office of International Relations, Announcement of Results for 2023 Winter SKKU BA DIVE Program
The Office of International Relations held the announcement of results for the 2023 Winter SKKU BA DIVE program on February 28th at the International Hall on the Humanities and Social Sciences Campus.
Started in 2022 with the goal of fostering a global mindset through self-directed global experiences, the SKKU BA DIVE program (Bonding and Diving, Self-directed experiential learning with seniors and juniors) celebrated its fourth iteration this year. A total of 37 teams comprising 186 students participated up to this winter semester.
In the 2023 Winter SKKU BA DIVE program, 10 teams with 54 students visited countries such as Singapore, Sweden, and the UK to carry out their projects.
During the presentation event, team SCAA'ylish (SKKU Webzine SCAA), which benchmarked a Singaporean university's webzine to create a new magazine, won the grand prize with the theme "Presentation of the Rebranding Direction of Sungkyun Webzine." Additionally, team Purmil (College of Life Sciences), which conducted a project aiming to survey and evaluate Korean bakery products, health foods, and self-produced health pies in Vietnam, received an excellence award.

EVerGREEN (Central Club HEVEN, College of Natural Sciences), which conducted a project exploring ways to improve domestic electric vehicle charging infrastructure through cases in Northern Europe, was selected as the outstanding team in the video category.
Director Han-jung Lee of the International Office praised the entire process, from project selection and planning to execution, for being student-led and appreciated the unusually innovative topics tackled. She encouraged participants, saying, "I hope you continue to develop the experiences gained from this program and contribute to society."

The International Office plans to continue various student participation programs, with recruitment for the 2024 Summer SKKU BA DIVE program scheduled for early May of this semester.
