- Accommodating 280 Swiss students in a dormitory located in Wonnam-dong, Jongno-gu

- Offering school tours, group activities, and cultural experience programs to the students

Our university is providing university dormitories in Seoul for the students participating in the SaeManGeum World Scout Jamboree until the closing day of the Jamboree, which is the 12th.

Sungkyunkwan University has decided to offer 150 rooms at the G-House dormitory located at 103 Wonnam-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul (17 Yulgok-ro, Jongno-gu) to around 280 Swiss students. The Swiss Jamboree participants arrived on the 8th and checked in sequentially.

Up until the closing day of the event on the 12th, our university plans to offer students not only accommodation but also various cultural experience programs, including tours around the university campus, special lectures, and group activities.

On the evening of the 9th, the university's alumni-owned company, Domino's Pizza (Chairman Oh Kwang-hyun, Class of '78, Department of Sociology), donated 160 pizzas and 150 boxes of chicken wings for everyone to share. Additionally, a snack corner was set up with bananas and various snacks and treats for students who might need extra meals or snacks.

President JiBeom Yoo emphasized, "We warmly welcome the Jamboree students to our university dormitories, having overcome the heatwave and typhoon conditions," and said, "Actively providing assistance to those facing difficulties is not only a virtue of our society but also the social responsibility of our university."
