SKKU offers several mass media platforms to advance students’ learning, education, and public opinion through prompt delivery of news and various constructive opinions and criticisms in and out of the university.
SKKU Newspaper
"SKKU Weekly" was founded in 1954 as its first form of university media. It grew to become highly influential while going through April Revolution of 1960. It changed its name to "SKKU Newspaper" in 1961, which continues to this day.
Currently, the newspaper consists of University, Academic, Public Voice, Society, and Culture sections, and eleven issues are published each semester. Under the motto of "Progress, Future, and Hope", SKKU Newspaper
aims to contribute to building a healthy student community by reflecting the students' viewpoints.
The Sungkyun Times
The Sungkyun Times is an English language media outlet at SKKU. The Sungkyun Times collects different ideas from the student community and provides publications in English for domestic and global readers in the University.
Sungkyunkwan University Broadcasting Studio (SUBS)
The Sungkyunkwan University Broadcasting Studio (SUBS) is the university broadcasting studio on campus that provides academic and practical information to the university community. SUBS broadcasts regular as well as special programs and hosts many different cultural events on campus. The headquarters of SUBS is located in the Humanities and Social Sciences Campus along with a branch studio in the Natural Sciences Campus.
