 First Place on Customer Satisfaction Index for Six Consecutive Years


Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU) ranked first place on the National Customer Satisfaction Index (NCSI) for six consecutive years, which is the single best accomplishment in Korea. On 2012 December 18 (Tue) 11:00, SKKU President Jun Young Kim won the first prize trophy at the NCSI awards ceremony held in Lotte Hotel.

SKKU, which ranking first place for six straight years, received 3 points higher than the previous year winning the second ranking university by 6 points. The analyzed reason for winning is that SKKU’s quality of education exceeded students’ expectations. SKKU sends thousands of enrolling students to companies/organizations each year and approximately 120 students overseas to countries such as China, US, Vietnam, Singapore.
National Customer Satisfaction Index (NCSI) is a quality competitiveness indicator which is co-developed by Korea Productivity Center and University of Michigan, under the purpose of improving national, industrial, corporate quality competitiveness. Under the support of the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, NCSI announce 58 categories of business every quarter through the Chosun Ilbo.
