4561 SKKU Graduates Recieve Bachelor/Master/Doctor’s Degree
- Sungkyunkwan University Graduation Ceremony held on Feb 25 at the New Millennium Hall
- ‘Sungkyun Style’ Flash Mob in Gold Lawn Square
Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU, President Jun Young Kim) held a 2012 spring graduation ceremony in New Millennium Hall on 25(Monday) at 11 a.m.
In this graduation ceremony, 4561 graduates (2925 bachelors, 1436 masters, 200 doctors) received their degrees. Before the graduation ceremony at 10:30, 31 members of the committee for Academic Affairs including president Jun Young Kim visited Sungkyunkwan ‘Daeseongjeon’ (Confucius Shrine) and performed a traditional ceremony announcing the official graduation of 4561 students.
Meanwhile, right after the graduation ceremony was finished, in gold lawn square, at 12 p.m., ‘Sungkyun Style’ flash mob video was shown. Simultaneously, ‘pzy’(Sung In Kim, Senior of department of law) with flash mob performance group suddenly showed up in the center of the square and performed ‘Sungkyun Style’ as a flash mob
At that time, 8 Seoul science gifted children appeared through group of the committee for academic affairs and with members of the committee, they imitated the ‘Sungkyun Style’ dance. All of the participants of the graduation ceremony joined the performance as well. It took about 5 minutes and ‘Sungkyun Style’ video has been uploaded on ‘YouTube’, so it can be found on the internet.
