SKKU, which is under the directorship of president Jun Young Kim, concluded an agreement concerning encouraging academic exchange and joint research with Sofia University, Bulgaria, which is under the directorship of president Ivan Ilchev on July 11th in the afternoon.
President Ivan Ilchev paid a courtesy visit to SKKU and gave a special lecture on 'cultural exchange and methods of cooperation between Korea-Bulgaria' at the first meeting room on the third floor of 600th Anniversary building after visiting Mun-myo.
First-ranked amongst Bulgarian universities, Sofia university has 26,067 students and 1,698 professors and shows the strength in Philosophy, Art, and traditional studies. The university building boasts a long history and was even designated as Special Historic Site by UNESCO.
