Seoul City selected 13 university streets as target areas for creating a campus town and decided to provide financial support up to 3 billion won in such fields as start-up and building community.

There will be two types of business models in the Campus Town Project; unit business and comprehensive business. For those universities who were selected for the unit business type, they will plan and operate necessary projects like start up consulting, environment improvement, and more, under the financial support of Seoul City.

Through 2 months of evaluation, Seoul City chose; Kyung Hee University, KwangWoon University, Dongguk University, Dongyang Mirae University, Seoul National University, Seoul Women’s College of Nursing, Sungkonghoe University, Sungkyunkwan University, Sookmyung Women’s University, Induk University, KC University, Hansung University, and Hongik University as its first target areas.

Meanwhile, Seoul City will develop the comprehensive business type from 2018 for 17 university streets including Sogang University, University of Seoul, Sungshin University, and Hankuk University of Foreign Studies.
