Deok Hee RYU (Dept. of Chemistry ’56 / Honorary president of Alumni Association), the President of Kyung Dong Corporation visited SKKU on Dec 28th (Wed) in order to donate 200 million KRW to ‘Global Sungkyun Scholarship Foundation’.
At the donation ceremony, President RYU mentioned, “I am feeling great about seeing our university’s development. I hope this Global Sungkyun Scholarship Foundation will help to cultivate global talented individuals who can contribute our country and social development. I will continuously give support so that many students of SKKU can achieve their dreams.”
At the ceremony, many representatives of SKKU including SKKU President, Kyu Sang CHUNG, the Chair of Alumni Association, Yoon Ha SHIN, the Vice-President of SKKU, In Sub MAH, and staff from the Giving Development team attended to appreciate this meaningful donation.
