As a on going program to promote the betterment for the international students living in Sungkyunkwan University(SKKU) the Office of International Affairs(OIA)(Manager for OIA Natural Science Campus office) has conducted a cultural event in association with Professor Navrati Saxena (Associate Professor & International Graduate Student Advisor at CICE, SKKU) and the SKKU Indian Association President Mr. Sukhdeep Singh Sandhu and members of the association to host the 2015 Diwali Festival in the Sungkyunkwan University(SKKU)'s Natural Science Campus as the SKKU counterpart organizers.

Around 450 people from SKKU and outside participated in the festival which was organized by the Indian's In Korea Association.

The festival had many distinguished guests coming to congradulate the festival and greet the peole gathered there, of which the Indian Ambassador to Korea  Mr. Vikram Doraiswami  and SKKU's College of Infromation and ommunication Engineering's Dean, Prof. JEON, BYEUNGWOO could be counted among them.

During the festivites SKKU was a granted the opportunity to talk about the university and announce an open house  event for people who may be interested in joining that will be held in Dec. 11th.

While performances and announcements were conducted indoors traditional foods and souvenirs were being sold in the 25 outdoor stalls at Diwali Mela .
