Convergence of Medical and IT: doctors, technicians, designer
Hackathon, under the joint auspices SKKU and Samsung Medical Center, will be held in need of ‘Digital Health Care’ converging with medical and ICT technology, due to a paradigm shift of medical treatment from remedy to prevention and health care.
The event is to actualize services that are necessary to doctors and patients. Participants in the event should select one of the following areas: (1) Big Data, (2) Connected Healthcare, and (3) Smart Hospital, and work on in-depth projects based on actual health data.
MEDICAL HACK will be providing various privileges to those people who are about to start, or already started healthcare business, such as networking with medical staff, support for clinical demonstration process, etc. If the project is recognized as excellent, various awards will be given as well as support for expanding studies.
The contest will be held for 2 days from Oct 8th (Sat) to Oct 9th (Sun) and applications can be submitted via the homepage of MEDICAL HACK 2016 (www.medicalhack2016.com) until Sep 19th (Mon). Participants will be provided with a Microsoft Azure Pass (about $100), 3 year coupon for Autodest products, meals, and snacks.
