SKKU Dormitory, Selected and Awarded Outstanding Works in Content Contests

The dormitory (Director Dong-Hee Park) selected and awarded outstanding works for the 2020 Dormitory Contents Contest.

This year, about 50 students produced and submitted various contents using UCC and webtoons on the topic of energy saving campaigns in the dormitory or how to wisely cope with the COVID-19 while living in dormitory completely different from previous years due to the COVID-19.

Eui-Yeon Chung (Department of Philosophy) who received a Gold Prize produced her work with the issue of recycling and garbage disposal in the dormitory in a form of news. Kyung-Min Ryu (Majoring in Engineering) and Jung-Min Lee (Department of Global Bio-Medical Engineering) earned the high marks by producing UCC under the theme of ‘Let’s overcome problems together’ and going over the issues that can occur with regard to the COVID-19.

Yong-Su Park and Ji-Sun Song, employees of dormitory, who organized the event said that “It could have been a difficult topic for the students, but we were surprised by the creativity and brilliant ideas of the students by seeing various know-hows and great tips in the dormitory.” They also expressed their hope that more students will participate next year to help them build dormitory as a safe place and as a place to learn the virtues of communal life.
