Global classes invited by professors from overseas prestigious universities have been held since last year to provide high-quality classes created by teachers from overseas prestigious universities to students to improve the level of education and establish a global learning platform.

1. Lecturer: Prof. Steve Mentz
 - Steve Mentz is Professor of English at St. John’s University in New York City.
 - His work explores the Blue Humanities, Early Modern Literature, Ecocriticism, Shakespeare, and the Literary Theory.

2. Contents: "Kinds of Blue: Phases, Structures, and Climate Change in the Blue Humanities"
 - This lecture defines the Blue Humanities as a mode of inquiry into the relationships between humans and water on all levels, from the global ocean to water vapor in the air to the water in our bodies.
 - An opening discussion of Physical Phases and Literary Structures will explore the meanings and connotations of different kinds of water, including fresh, salt, liquid, solid, and vapor in human cultures and histories.
 - The second half of the lecture will pick up a series of narrative structures that we use to make sense of water, including the tropes of submersion, buoyancy,  and literary forms.
 - Part of the lecture will draw upon sea-poems published in 2024 in my book Sailing without Ahab.
